I was introduced to Yoga, specifically Yin Yoga following a traumatic car accident. Not only was my body constantly in pain but my mental health suffered. I had to walk away from a 20 year career and I was terrified. After trying almost every pain management treatment with no real lasting benefits, I saw an Osteopath who introduced me to the benefits of Yin Yoga for Pain Management. After a few months, my body felt different. I was healing. And then came another shift. Through this practice, I noticed my mind was more calm. Yin Yoga was a game changer. I needed to share it. After taking my 200 YTT, I completed my 50 hour Yin Yoga training with Bernie Clark. Through this practice, I found a passion for Meditation and its healing benefits. Advanced my training with Meditation Certification, MBSR, CWMF, Restorative Yoga training and now also include Ayurvedic Indian Massage to my wellness offerings. Currently in the process of finishing 500 YTT and Integrated Yoga Therapy. We never know when one of the worst things that happens to us is actually a blessing in disguise.
